Acceptance of Terms

By using goldenwavesalon.com or visiting Golden Wave Salon, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or premises.

About Golden Wave Salon

Golden Wave Salon LLC ("Golden Wave," "we," "us") operates a salon at 124 N. 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53213 and this website. We rent salon space to independent hairstylists. Golden Wave is a collective of separate businesses, not a single provider of hair services.

 

Independent Stylists

Every stylist who works at Golden Wave is an independent business owner. They are not employees, agents, or partners of Golden Wave Salon. Each stylist:

• Sets their own prices, services, schedule, and policies

• Manages their own bookings, deposits, cancellations, and client records.

• Is responsible for the services they provide and for their own client agreements

Before your appointment, ask your stylist for their terms, including pricing, deposit, cancellation, late arrival, and redo policies. Those policies are between you and your stylist, and they may differ from stylist to stylist. Golden Wave does not set or enforce them.

 

Information on This Website

Service descriptions, photos, and examples on this site are general information about the work stylists at Golden Wave do. They are not a guarantee of any specific service, price, or result. Pricing and availability are set by individual stylists and are not set by Golden Wave.

 

Booking

Appointments are booked directly with the stylist you choose, through their own booking link, platform, or contact method. Golden Wave does not hold deposits or process payments for stylist services.

 

Salon Conduct

Golden Wave is a safe, positive space where every guest and stylist is welcome. Discriminatory, derogatory, or threatening statements and actions are not tolerated. We may ask anyone who is disruptive or unsafe to leave the premises.

 

Health and Safety

Please tell your stylist about any allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, recent chemical treatments, or medications before any service. Patch tests and other precautions are determined by your stylist. Hair services carry inherent risks, and any assumption of risk or consent you give is between you and your stylist.

 

Photography and Reviews

Stylists may photograph their own work and use it in their own marketing under their own client consent practices. Golden Wave may feature stylists' work, salon photos, and client testimonials on this website and our social media. Testimonials are published with a first name or initial only. If you would like a photo or testimonial of yours removed from a Golden Wave channel, email us and we will take it down.

 

Work With Us (Rental Inquiries)

The Work With Us page and any inquiry form are for general information about renting space at Golden Wave. They are not a job posting, an application for employment, or an offer of any kind. Any rental of space is subject to a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Submitting an inquiry does not create any rental, employment, or other relationship.

 

Third-Party Platforms and Links

Our website is hosted on Wix. We may link to or use third-party tools, including stylists' own booking platforms, forms, email services, and social media. These are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

 

Intellectual Property

The Golden Wave name, logo, website design, and website content are the property of Golden Wave Salon and may not be reproduced without permission. Photos and content created by individual stylists remain the property of those stylists.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Wave Salon is not responsible for the services, advice, products, or conduct of independent stylists, or for results, damages, or dissatisfaction arising from services performed by them. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Wisconsin law.

 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

 

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the most recent revision.
