Hi, I’m Emily, owner of Golden Wave, and I’ve been where you are. You’re ready to step into independence, but you want something deeper than just your average chair rental space. For years, I dreamed of creating a salon where every stylist truly enjoys coming to work. A place that feels uplifting, peaceful, and full of possibility. That vision became Golden Wave Salon.

I’ve been running my own business since 2018. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth every step. Whether you’re going independent for the first time or coming from another rental situation, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow.

Over the last five years, business education has completely changed the way I run my career, and I want to pass that forward. At Golden Wave, you’ll have access to ongoing mentorship and marketing with me. Whether it’s a quick question, a 1:1 session, or just someone to bounce ideas off of, I’m your girl!

Becoming your own boss behind the chair is so exciting, but let’s be honest, it can also be nerve-racking. The thought of “what if my clients don’t follow me?” or “how will I cover rent while I rebuild?” stops a lot of talented stylists from taking the leap.

That’s why Emily has created the 3-Month Rent Ramp-Up Program to give you space to grow, without the immediate financial pressure.
​
For your first three months, your rent gradually increases while you get settled, reconnect with your clients, and find your rhythm in your new space. You’ll have time to focus on building while Golden Wave is helping you market to new clients.
​
During this three month period you have access to 1:1 accountability check ins with Emily, while we can get to the bottom of your business and how to set you up successfully for the upcoming months.
​
By month four, you’ll reach the full rent amount, and at that point, you can choose to sign a yearly lease or part ways if it doesn’t feel like the right fit. It’s a simple, low-risk way for both of us to make sure this move truly works for you.
